H. E. Ambassador Mr. Jasminko Pozderac met today in the Bishop's Palace with the Bishop of Qatar, Mr. Makarios.
During the conversation, Bishop Makarios who is a representative of the Jerusalem Patriarchate, spoke in our interest about the position of the Orthodox community in Qatar, the organization of the church, the number of believers and other issues.
The Ambassador was also interested in the participation of members of the Serbian community in the work of the church, their presence at liturgies and other details.
It was agreed to continue contacts.
The meeting was also attended by the First Counselor of the Embassy Mr. Slobodan Radeka.
