H. E. the Ambassador was received today by H. E. Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Minister of State and Director of the National Library of Qatar. On that occasion, the high-ranking interlocutors discussed various topics in the field of cultural diplomacy and the promotion of cooperation between the two countries in this field, especially in the light of the post-Kovid-19 period. The Qatari side expressed its readiness to work together, as well as to offer hospitality for activities from this important diplomatic dimension.
Ambassador Jasminko Pozderac spoke especially about the candidacy of the Republic of Serbia for the Executive Council of UNESCO, 2023-2027, and in that context he handed over Aide Memoire in English, asking for Qatari support for our aspirations in this organization, which is for Serbia is very important, especially in the context of preserving the cultural heritage in Kosovo and Metohija.
