Today, the H. E. the Ambassador met with the Director General of the Directorate for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, H. E. Ambassador Salem Al Jaber. The meeting was also attended by the First Counselor of the Embassy, ​​Slobodan Radeka.
The high interlocutors exchanged views on the situation in the overall bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the State of Qatar. It was jointly stated that they are very good and that they are on a safe track. There are, of course, opportunities and potentials for strengthening cooperation, primarily in the domain of economy and energy, as well as agriculture, in the context of attracting Qatari investments.
Opinions and views were also exchanged on current regional developments in the Balkans and the Middle East.
From our side, the undoubted results that the Republic of Serbia achieves in the field of the fight against covid-19 and vaccination, as well as when it comes to the level of economic growth, where it is among the first in Europe, despite the effects of the pandemic. In this regard, brochures of the Chamber of Commerce and the Development Agency of Serbia on the possibilities of strengthening cooperation and investment in the Republic of Serbia were handed over. 
Ambassador Pozderac and Al Jaber estimated that the visit of the Emir of Qatar, H. E. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to SerbiA would further strengthen the bilateral relations with the Republic of Serbia and it would be a signal for strengthening the investments of Qatari businessmen.
