On August 4, 1995, at the end of the civil war, the Croatian armed forces carried out aggression on areas in Croatia where the majority of Serbs lived for centuries. The aggression was carried out despite the fact that the area was under United Nations protection and that the International community proposal was accepted, the day before, by the Serbian people in Croatia on a peaceful solution to the conflict. During the infamous action, as many as 220 thousand Serbs were expelled from their homes, and two thousand lost their lives.
Operation „Storm“ is without a doubt the largest ethnic cleansing in Europe since World War II.
