The DCM of the Embassy, ​​Mr. Slobodan Radeka, talked today with Dr. Ana Paolini, the Director of the UNESCO Doha Office and the Representative of that organization for the Arab countries of the Gulf and Yemen. During the conversation, we emphasized the importance of UNESCO as an organization for the Republic of Serbia, as well as the importance of the preservation of our cultural and historical heritage in Kosovo and Metohija, which is under constant danger from the extremist activities of Kosovo Albanians. We also conveyed our arguments about the inadmissibility of the membership of the so-called "Kosovo" in this UN organization.

Dr. Ana Paolini said that she was familiar with the main views of the Republic of Serbia and with the significance that UNESCO has for us. She also stated that all the Arab states of the Gulf are covered from Doha. Dr. Paolini shared her experiences and of very good cooperation with Qatari state authorities.
In our interest, Madame Paolini also spoke about the "UN House" project in Doha, which should open in January next year and which will house representatives of all organizations from the UN system in Qatar.
It was agreed to continue contacts and cooperation.
