In the context of an event of global importance, the World Cup in football in Qatar, for which preparations are well underway in various fields, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy Slobodan Radeka participated in an online tripartite meeting with representatives of the Qatari organizer - the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the WHO Department for Communications, Geneva.
The topic of the meeting was projects on the preservation of mental and physical health /Healthy World Cup/ and its importance in the context of the World Cup and beyond. In this regard, billboards, painting of benches in various colors and promotion of material that talks about mental health, as well as abstinence from smoking, promotion of physical activities and healthy diet are planned. Special focus will be on promoting this information to fans. The whole activity starts on October 10, on World Mental Health Day.
From our side, it was stated that we will engage in this topic, which is undoubtedly of great importance.
