Chargé d'Affaires Slobodan Radeka gave an interview to the largest Qatari sports television, "BEIN", on the topic of sports and cultural ties between Serbia and Qatar, economic relations, and the participation of the Serbian national team in the World Cup in football, which begins in Doha on November 20.
In the convesation with Mrs. Leila Smati, Mr. Radeka pointed out that overall relations between Serbia and Qatar are very good and partnership-like, as well as that there is room for further development in adifferent areas, including economic, energy, sports and cultural cooperation.
In the context of promoting Serbia's cultural and media presence in Qatar and especially during the World Cup in Doha, he spoke about two cultural projects in which the Embassy is directly involved, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Serbia.

It was pointed out that the World Cup in football, as an event of planetary importance, as well as the participation of the Serbian national team, is a priority in the work of the Embassy in the upcoming period, as well as all accompanying activities, such as providing consular protection to our citizens.
