Chargé d'affaires Slobodan Radeka gave an interview to the Qatari state television "Qatar TV". He spoke about the bilateral relations between Serbia and Qatar, which he assessed as very good, with opportunities for further development in many areas.He gave recognition to the State of Qatar for its enormous efforts and invested funds and energy, so that all preparations for the World Cup in football would be completed in a timely manner. He assessed that all eight new stadiums that will be used during the World Cup represent a masterpiece of architecture, combining modern trends and traditional Arab culture.

Mr. Radeka pointed out that we are looking forward to the appearance of the Serbian national football team at the World Cup, as well as that the expectations of the public in Serbia are always high regarding the results of national selections in all sports, since it is not an exaggeration to say that Serbia is a sports nation.
He wished the fans from Serbia a warm welcome and emphasized that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the State of Qatar is always ready to respond to all their requests.
