Mr. Slobodan Radeka made a statement for QNA and congratulated Qatar and its citizens and residents on the National Day, which is celebrated on December 18, pointing out that he believes that the fact that the National Day is celebrated this year on the same day as the Finals of the World Cup in football actually reflects the depth of Qatar's strategic planning. He spoke particularly  of the slogan "Our unity is the source of our strength", which is the motto of this year's National Day celebration, noting that the motto can also be used by other peoples and countries. He emphasized that Qatar is a state of overall progress, which is obvious. Regarding the World Cup, perhaps the biggest global event at the moment, he congratulated Qatar on its exceptional organization, adding that it is considered one of the best organized World Cups in the history of these competitions.
In terms of bilateral relations, he stated that Serbia and Qatar are partners in many areas of cooperation, as well as in international forums, and that there is certainly and always room for further progress and development of relations in various fields. On this plan, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the State of Qatar is always ready to give the maximum contribution.
