Charge d'affaires a. i. Mr. Slobodan Radeka visited the monumental building of the Amiri Diwan, the seat of the Amir of the State of Qatar, H. H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The two-hour visit for the heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Doha was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The Amir's Palace combines traditional Arab and Qatari values with modern architectural trends and, according to the general assessment, is a masterpiece of architecture.

It is interesting that the old Divan building was designed by an architect from the former Yugoslavia, but there is no information about his name and surname in the Qatari archives.
